FULLY Hosted/Guided Trips

Enhance your stay. For the ultimate adventure, customize your experience. Hire our hosts to take care of all the details of your trip. Your Host will take care of all the preliminary planning of the trip. The Host will organize your shuttle to the Lodge, buy the food, cook your meals, prepare the snacks, care for the Lodge, and take care of the busy work, while you are enjoying your adventure.

• $250 per night per person all inclusive
• Minimum stay - 2 nights / 2 people
• Hosting is all inclusive
  • Our trained guides will shuttle you from Princeton up the mountain to the Lodge,
  • When you arrive, hors d'oeuvres will be awaiting you in the warmth of the Lupine Chalet
  • Sit on the deck and take in the view while your meals are prepared for you
  • Spend your day relaxing around the Chalets or enjoy a hike to one of the local peaks with your Host
  • Finish the day by letting the pressure off in the heat of the wood fired sauna
  • For your comfort all the details of your stay are taken care of by your Host, the cooking, cleaning, trip logistics, and more!
• 6 people is the maximum capacity of the Lodge

SERVICES

Day Guide - Summer/Winter

Have one of our trained guides join you for the day!
Your guide will be there to orient you at the Lodge, show you how everything works and where things are.
The guide will help you with the basics of backcountry travel, and show you around the local area by foot.
The guide can take you on extended one day walking tours.
One guide per group of 4 people.
One day guide is $175
Lodging, Food, and Transportation are not included in this price.
All our guides are medically trained, and have spent extensive time in both the Montana Backcountry and especially in our area of the woods.

Trip Details

- We accept Cash/ Check and Visa/MC/Discovery
- All bookings will be charged the 7% MT bed tax on the Lodging part of their stay
- You are responsible for cleaning the Lodge before departure
- Open year round for your adventure and enjoyment
- Trips are booked exclusively to each group
- We do not double book
- Capacity for 6 people maximum per stay
- Children under 12 stay for free
- Trips are self-catered unless other wise indicated
- Check in time is after 2pm on the day of arrival (Unless otherwise specified)
- Check out time is by 11am on the day of departure (Unless otherwise specified)
- Bring your own bedding - sleeping bag or linens
- Reservation requires a 50% deposit by Credit Card
- Please No dogs or any pets!!
- A liability waiver will be signed by all participants prior to the trip

Confirmations

- Confirming your reservation to the Altoona Ridge Lodge requires a 50% deposit at the time of the reservation by Credit Card
- Deposits is due at time of reservation by Credit Card
- Balance due will be charged to your Credit Card 7 days before the trip start date
- Your Credit Card will be held as a Damage/Cleaning Fee Deposit
- All door combinations, maps, and lists of suggested items to bring along on the trip will be sent to the trip organizer at the time of the final payment

Refunds

- Cancelations 30 days before the trip start date receive a full refund of the deposit
- Cancelations less than 30 days from start date incur a 50% charge to the deposit
- Cancelations made within 7 days of the start date deposit is non-refundable
- Refunds will be made by check to the Credit Card holder
- All door combinations, maps, and lists of suggested items to bring along on the trip will be sent to the trip organizer when the final payment is received.
